RED Hat Linux India

Under the Industry Attachment Programme (IAP), the institute has entered into an agreement with Red Hat Linux India Ltd. Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the two organizations Red Hat would conduct the course on Linux Administration and Networking in such a manner that it would up-grade the students with latest technology through proper training and examination. The track consists of three courses certified by Red Hat namely RH033, RH133 & RH253. Red Hat Linux owes the responsibility of placing all the students of DAVIET who are RHCE certified and score 70% or above marks in their B.Tech Examination. At present, the industry based on Linux deployments is recruiting only those people who are certified by Red Hat. The alliance would thus open new avenues & multiply the job opportunities of the upcoming professionals of DAVIET. All these efforts are aligned with the objective of DAVIET to provide its students with the best in the industry, thereby producing technical man power that not only meets the local industry requirements but it also has an acceptable human resource for the global job.

MSDN Academic Alliance

DAVIET has entered into academic alliance with the Microsoft wherein the students and the faculty institute will virtually get an unlimited access to the latest tools, platforms, servers viz: Windows XP Professional, Windows CE Development Kit, Windows Terminal Server, Windows Advanced Server, Biztalk Server Enterprise Edition, Commerce Server, Exchange Conferencing Server, SQL Server, System Management Server, Share Point Portal Server, Content Management Server, Application Center Server, Internet Security & Acceleration Server, Visual Studio.NET, Visio Professional, SDKs & DDKs.

It is apprehended that after a few years down the lane, a thorough knowledge of .NET Platform will become pre-requisite for IT professional, because this new platform is driving a mega-shift-turning the internet into a collaborative, interactive environment. Under the MSDN Academic alliance the students of DAVIET will get the opportunity to work on .NET Developer Platform.

Authorised Sun Education Center

Sun Microsystem has selected DAVIET for all benefits to its faculty and student under Sun Academic Initiative Program; designed to create a collaborative relationship between Sun and academic institutions, Courses delivered to this program will introduce students of DAVIET to Sun Microsystems Technologies, Prepare them for Industry Leading Certification and equip them with marketable IT job skills. As part of this program DAVIET has become Authorised Sun Education Center, enabling institution to deliver training to Sun Technologies. In addition, the students can obtain free access to selected online courses through the Sun Web Learning Center.
