Computer Center

The institute has come up with four computer labs viz. Student's Lab., Hi-Tech Lab., Faculty Lab and RDBMS Lab., to cope up with the ever growing requirements.

The Student's Lab .is a lab. common for all branches of engineering with every student having accessibility at any time. The Lab. consists of Compaq PCs, having NT servers with latest software.

The LINUX servers on the HP PCs have been set up in the Hi-Tech Lab. These labs. have been especially set up for the students of Computer Science & Engg. Branch.

Both Student Lab. and Hi-Tech lab. are inter connected using SAMBA Server.

In RDBMS LAB various RDBMS software have been provided to educate students on Data Management Systems. The lab is equipped with State-of-the-art computers and top class softwares.

All computers in four labs are on LAN with high speed switches and for internet ISDN Connection are provided and their usage is available to the students as well as the staff from 4PM to 7 PM on all working days. Usage of internet is based on prior booking and first come first serve basis.

128 Kbps Leased line has been installed and aperture terminal has been established in the Institute and the Computer Center remains open for 24 hours on all days.
