DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2001 under the aegis of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi that is running more than 700 institutions world wide. All these institutions are known for the highest level of dedication, sincerity, commitment and discipline. There is a sustained endeavor to provide the best quality of education with a difference. The management has already established a number of Medical Colleges, Polytechnics, Industrial Training Centers, Art & Science Colleges, but this is the first ever Engineering College started by the DAV College Managing Committee. We further plan to develop this institute into a Deemed University.

The institute is located in the heart of city on a prime piece of land adjacent to DAV College, Jalandhar on the left side of Jalandhar – Amritsar National Highway spread over an area measuring about 18 acres possessing extremely beautiful landscape with a running canal on its back and historical Burlton Park on its front.
