Ready for Sex?
1. Everyone's doing it...: I know, you've heard this a million times before. But really, it's NOT true. Not everyone is doing it. Just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean that YOU have to. This goes back to the thing your mom used to tell you when you were younger "If all of your friends jumped off a bridge would you?". If your friends are pressuring you into doing something that you don't want to do, and if they make fun of you, then they probably aren't that good of friends to begin with. 2. He said if I love him...: This is bullshit. Guys that say things like this, are probably only after one thing. Sex. If they love YOU, then they won't pressure you into sex, they'll want to wait until your ready. 3. He's forcing it on me..: There are some times when little white lies are o.k. There are even some times when I bite my tounge as not to offend someone. But when it comes to things like oh..my body, then I'm not concerned about hurting other people's feelings. If a guy is forcing sex on you, then it's not worth it. You won't enjoy it because you'll be too scared. So, if a guy comes on to you a little too strong, don't be afraid to tell him to stop. If he continues advancing, and you begin to feel really uncomfortable, there's nothing wrong with a swift kick to the balls. (Sorry guys!) A few more signs that may indicate that your not ready for sex, is that if you feel uncomfortable talking about sex or sexually oriented things with your partner, this may be a sign your not ready for sex. You should always be 100% sure, without any doubt in your mind that your ready for sex. A lot of things can come from sex (no pun intended) such as...a baby. Which brings me to my next point. USE A FORM, (or 2) of BIRTH CONTROL.
