They did a wonderful job decorating the DFAC. Some of the people working there even had on costumes of the era of the first Thanksgiving (before it was a holiday, that is). The place where you pick up your utensils looked like a wagon. Lights twinkled everywhere. There was a faux-fireplace, complete with faux-fire! Streamers lined the cieling, candles and flowers trimmed the tables, and background music all gave the DFAC a welcoming environment. I began wondering how I've gone through life this long without Elvis singing at my Thanksgiving table. | ![]() |

The outside was also decorated. There was this Tee-Pee, and there was another one, but not as good as this one, and there were cardboard bison, too. I wonder what they're doing with those after Thanksgiving, 'cuz I'm thinking it would make a nice addition to the Shack's frontyard... |
