1. Do you use the Net for other classes?
-->Yes, I do sometimes use the net for other classes.
2. If so, which are they? Describe the course and how you used the Net for whatever assignment or project. Be specific.
-->I usually use them when I write my papers. For example, the recent paper I have to submit was the one about Chaucer. I had to research information about Chaucer's contribution to English literature since the course is English Literature. And other than this course, I use the web for my English speech class. After I decide my topic for the speech or presentation
I surf information for further information and gather them, summarize it and use them as a resource for my speech.
3. How helpful was the Net? Was it more useful than if you had used conventional means,
e.g., finding books and periodicals in the library?
-->In general I think the net is useful. However, not all resources that are in the net are that accurate. That's why I also use informations in the net as well as books by going to the library at Ewha. I think there are quite good
information in the Web but actually it is actually up to you. Because I have to discern the good information and the bad information which is in the Net. If I don't have enough ability to look up the information that is useful for
me, the net is no use. So when getting the information from the Net, I know that I have to be careful to find the ones which are accurate and concrete.
4. Would it help if core classes in your major, or general education classes at Ewha were online?
-->Yes, I believe it will help but I think learning classes only through online would be difficult.
I believe various sources should be combined for courses in Ewha. Not only studying by books, not only by the Net.
Two of the source and other sources from maybe news articles should be an ideal way for a course.
5. Would you like to see other English or other language courses online? If so, what would they be?
-->Yes, I would certainly like to see other English or other language courses online. For example, for English course the teacher might give an useful website to higher the student's pronunciation by providing websites that let users to listen at native speaker's voice. Also, after covering the units in the textbook, teacher might give addition information on the website, so that student's can go over at home if they were not able to fully understand the material during class.
