Description
of work done |
| 8,9,10 |
The evaluation of the various design e.g. the coupling and cohesion of
system, user interface design, cost estimation calculation is now in progress.
Meanwhile testing is carried out. The cyclomatic
complexity is computed and the screen flow
structure of the system is also included. The whole system will be ready by
23/03/2000 for demonstration. |
| |
| 7 |
The testing of the modules is still in progress and the design is also
updated on the changes made. We set the target to start integration by
week 8 so that whole system can be fully tested before
demonstration. |
| |
| 6 |
The deployment view of the system is
done. At the same time, the first prototype is reviewed. The standardizations
of the system is carried out and the next stage is to perform testing on
each modules before the integration is performed. Refinement to the class
diagrams and sequence diagrams are
done. |
| |
| 5 |
Component and process view using the
Rose is developed. Concurrently, the coding personnel have started to
develop the first prototype especially the interface. |
| |
| 4 |
The object diagram and class diagrams are created.
The entity relationship and data
structure diagram are developed for our actual database design to
finalize the database. Feedbacks are obtained from the
clients. |
| |
| 3 |
Developing the sequence diagrams are finished. At the same time, a database
template for the system is created to enable every individual to start
trying to use Visual Basic to manipulate it. |
| |
| 2 |
The
familiarization of the tools especially the modeling tool like Rational
Rose is carried out. Next, using the tools we need to generate the use
case diagrams to describe the system. Basically the refining of the
diagram is done constantly to meet the user's requirements. |

We established our group and organized the roles
of each individual and the team organisation. The main objective is to identify the project to
handle as well as the software tools to use for development. Furthermore,
we decided to use the object-oriented approach for our analysis and
design. We had also plan a schedule to ensure
completion of the project on time. |
