We are always in need of volunteers, sponsors and of course, bookings! No matter how you would like to participate, your contribution will ensure SFCB's continued growth and respect in the community.

The South Fraser Community Band has a strong sense of community purpose and provides free musical entertainment at civic, charitable and community events. For example, SFCB performs regularly at retirement centers and nursing homes, bringing musical entertainment to that special audience.

At present the band is self financing, funds being raised from membership dues, fundraising events, and individual donations. We are actively seeking sponsorship in a variety of forms with companies or individuals. Please contact Doug Lawrence at (604) 584-2631 for more information.

Contributions made to the South Fraser Community Band are used to purchase musical equipment, uniforms and supplies for rehearsals and performances.

You don't have to be a musician to help out, just someone who has some extra time on your hands, and an enthusiastic love of the arts! We are always looking for people to do a variety of important jobs, including: fundraising; promotions; membership or stage management etc... we can use it all!
