I am back at the computer after a long period of web abandonment. I just completed redisigning oir main page and will be hard at work bringing some new elements, including photos of Chalcedoni's Handfasting and the complete written ritual.Summer weather has been the best. Some sad news reached us recently, some very dear friends have passed on, Maurice, Joe and John. You will be missed and remembered.

Welcome to some of our friends who have just joined our neighborhoods, Mindtrap and Gordzila !

Big thanks to all who sign our guestbooks and also to the kind people who have given us their precious awards.

Lone Wolf just celebrated a birhday on August 6, we had a very romantic dinner at a the Light House revolving restaurant at the Westin hotel in harbourfront. A howling good time was had!

Coming events: Starbound and Lone Wolf will be celebrating their Fourth Anniversary on September 7, 1998, Ray will be having a Birthday on September 24, Starbound and Rob on October 14th. I love this time of the year!

Sunday, October 13, 1996 - Chalcedony's Handfasting

On Saturday, October 12, 1996, the witchy social event of the year took place!
Chalcedony and the handsome Groom arrived at the location, accompanied by Lone Wolf, Starbound and Winston the Schnoozer, err Schnauzer.
The setting was a beautiful private home, surrounded by a natural wooded area. A large living room with generous windows allowed a view of the breath taking site.

Pretty soon, members of the coven began to arrive, filling the place with laughter and warm hugs.
The ritual took place in the afternoon, outdoors. The event was announced and the circle formed.
Let me pause here for a moment, for a very unusual sight was now taking place. One of the members of the circle was Winston, our Mini-Schnauzer! Winston was dressed in a black hooded cape, with a Pentacle motif on the back, custom creation by Starbound. Yes you read it here first! Let me add that Winston behaved perfectly well, it was not really "his" fault that the High Priestess burst out in laughter, at this sight, while addressing the North, behind him!

The Bride was an angelic vision of beauty, wearing a long, red silk dress, crowned by her own design of silver ivy leaves tiara with matching necklace. Green ivy completed the head dress.
The Groom wore a black robe finished in rich red silky trimming with leafy designs.
Lone Wolf looked very intriguing in his black hooded robe, another Starbound creation.

The ritual was followed by a feast of endless home cooked dishes brought by the guests and enhanced by a delicious white wine made by the Bride and Groom.
Gifts were opened while logs where crackling in the fire place and we made a futile effort to taste at least one piece of each of the exquisite desserts spread on the table.
A joyous time was had by all! We arrived at home exhausted and wearing happy smiles.
