Friendly match - against SMAP's team
ON this historical day(11 Mac 2001), we get our first victory against a well-prepared team. We had to struggle at the eleventh hour to find players to play for the match. There is some miscommunication before the match but it does not effect us.
Firstly, our captain was still sleeping when we called him. He rushed to the SMART's field. Another player is our first-choice goalkeeper, Kuan Chung. He was still at Megamall's arcade when we called him. He rushed to the field with Tuck Yuan. This is the line-up for the match:

The match begins -1st Half
1-20 Minutes
The first 5 minutes was exhausting because we were still getting use to the game and ^TEMPREATURE^. We started well with runs from Lai and Edward but we couldn't find the back of the net. Our defence improved. It was shone when Guan Zhen did a marvelous tackle meeting it's aim. After that, the Captain did a great move which was never even seen or done by any players in the English Premier League.Without hesitation, Captain gave a thundering strike into the goal~~^as usual^(He claims again).
20-30 Minutes
After the goal, Seri Kubang team spirit boosted up high. The opposing team was a little worried but they never yield. They kept presuming for a goal, but good goal keeping by Koh Kuan Chung saved us. A few minutes before half time, Kah Joon who was having the ball brilliantly dribbled the ball and leaded the opposing defenders to him. Then, he gave a through ball pass to Edward. At that time, Edward was already open and he gave a fantastic shot but unfortunately the ball rebounded after hitting the keeper. But… just when the keeper thought it was safe, Edward recover his balance and struck the rebound which gave us a 2-0 lead.
SECOND-HALF
1-30 Minutes
After a good rest and some encouraging advice from the Manager, the game started. The game started to get rough but with the support by cheering from the fans and the Manager, we managed to performed well and play good FOOTBALL. The defence did a good job by keeping the ball in the other half of the field most of the time. This gave our offence a good opportunity to attack. Edward dribbled on the left side of the field and gave a lovely cross that was converted by Cheng Hong. This was his first and only official goal in year 2001. Now, we were leading 3-0. After a while, Cheng Hong had to be substituted out because of an injury. A few minutes before the last whistle, the opposing team scored a consolation goal.
THE GAME ENDED
As usual, the players shake hands and apologize to each other. We were satisfied with the match as it went on smoothly. "This was an ^Amazing^ match" praised the Manager. After that, the players went for a drink and went home happily with 'Ego'.
