This weeks perspective: Hard reality set in as the folks in Section 118 could not put off the truth anymore... UNLV sucks. And to think that we thought XFL football was poorly played.  I’d be willing to bet that this Rebel team couldn’t even beat the Dallas Cowboys... yes folks, we’re that bad. The truth hurts doesn’t it.  Now we know what it feels like to be a UNR fan...

Things were much more pleasant in Section 118 this week. Our much kinder and caring friend Mini-Mac, fresh out of the hospital from having his head reattached, was permitted back into the stadium after insisting that he was Born Again. It turns out our skepticism in his sincerity held true by the end of the night, however.  No thanks to our new Clark County firemen friends in 118.   They tell us they’re not going to be able to make the final game in two weeks because they will be on call.  We think it’s because they know how pissed we are about the way they encouraged Mini-Mac back into his old ways.

All in all, it was a fun night.  We’re expecting about 300 fans to show up at the final home game, beings how we suck and all, so if you see us, come on over to Section 118 and say hi.  If Mac shows up, we’ll do our best to try and keep him away from your girlfriend / wife / daughter, although we can’t make any promises...

Rich and Bryan let out a sigh. The tailgate got off to a pretty slow and boring start.  Something just seemed to be missing...

Suddenly an Army Black Hawk Special Operations helicopter comes roaring into our tailgate out of no where!  Could it be???

Yes it is! Always known for his grand entrances, that lil’ bastard Mini-Mac never ceases to amaze!!!

Fresh out of the hospital after having his head reattached, Mini-Mac tells us he has been Born Again, and from now on will be behaving himself completely at the games. Let’s just say we’ll see about that...
