This weeks perspective: 16th ranked Northwestern came to town and left us all with a bitter taste in our mouth as they put a pretty decent whooping on our Rebels in the second half, and left us with an 0-2 record to start the 2001 season.  Our small caravan of delinquents penetrated Section 118 once again, only to find a much more subdued crowd than the one we experienced last Spring.  Hell, I didn’t even get a beer spilled on me (apologies to those sitting around me who can’t say the same thing). But nothing will ever stop us from trying to spread our demented brand of cheer.  Unfortunately we had some technical problems with the camera this week, and most of the pictures didn’t come out.  More apologies go out to all of those sick enough to let us take your picture. We’ll try and get it right at the next game. But then again...when have we ever gotten anything right...

The original 118’ers, Jeff, Bryan, Rich and Steve, prepare for another season of tailgating with wreckless abandon and a-whole-nuther five games of spectacular spectating stupidity.
