| Liane's Answers: 1. Are you planning to puruse a career in law enforcement? - "I am seriously looking into it." 2. Are you looking forward to the Academy? - "Yes, I am looking forward to the Academy because I have heard that it's loads of fun, hard work, and that you learn a lot." 3. What are your expectations? - "I think that even though it may be hard, it's something I can and will use later on in my life." 4. What did you expect when you joined SAR? Were you pressured into it, or was it personal choice? - "Well, I am not officially joined in yet, but no it was not pressured choice. My dad was once involved in SAR and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world when he came home and told stories about what he did. I wanted to be like him." 5. How did you hear about SAR? - "I heard of SAR through my dad. He mentioned it to me and I thought it was pretty cool, so I loooked into it and here I am!" ***Note: Liane just graduated from the Academy on April 10. More of her answers will be coming soon. Erik's Answers: 1. What made you decide to join Post 830? - "I plan on being a paramedic so I joined post 830 for the experiences with that type of stuff." |
