It's 12 tracks present a wide range of rock/pop styles, from basic rock'n'roll (Seu Pai não vem Aqui - Your father won't come here) to the blues (Canto - Sing), passing by country (O Vaqueiro e a Debutante - The cowboy and the debutant), and some ballads.
In this record ACIDENTE counted on some guests: Marcelo Sussekind and Piska on guitars, Alvaro Rodrigues on harmonica and Carlão Limeira, who sang in one song.
Mala says: "Produced in less than 3 months with unexperienced musicians and a scarce budget, this first album sounds more than a demo tape. Notwithstanding, at the end of 1981 a country music program on 98 FM (Rio) began to play 'O Vaqueiro e a Debutante' daily: and in early 1982, when Maldita FM (Niterói) started its experimental transmissions, 'Canto' and 'Não me mate agora' topped the radios's unformal playlist for weeks. After Maldita drove 'normal', still Acidente was constantly hearded... during some time. As for all the rest of airplay, for being indie instead of a major label 'product', ACIDENTE was banned from the first moment.
