We knew our budget wouldn't support new cabinets. My Mom and I spent a week refacing the old ones. We removed the old hardware, sanded the surfaces, applied 1" frame molding on the drawer and door faces. Painted the cabinets inside and out with a good primer. We painted inside and out two coats of white cabinet paint. With the investment of $250 and a lot of sweat equity we have like new cabinets! Keep scrolling and view our before and after project.

The original kitchen was spacious but very dated. We replaced the old tired floors with ceramic tile, resurfaced the counter tops with matching ceramic as well. We ripped out the old bar and put in a modern island.
