Update April 28, 2001
HOME
These are the Iceberg roses that we planted last spring.  I love coming home from work and seeing these roses by our front door.  It'll be interesting to see how they do this summer when it's nearly a 100 degrees everyday for two months.
This has been my major project this spring, you might recalll this is the area I've previously mentioned having bad luck with.  Well I'm giving it another shot this year.  Here's a list of what's planted along this fense: 3 wax leaf privets, 2 varigated privets, 2 barberries, 2 indian hawthorns, 2 dwarf glossy abeilas, 2 peonies, 2 texas sage, black-eyed susans, shasta daiseys, lily turf, St. John's wort, lamb's ear, dusty miller, salvia and a bunch of Iris at one end.  I've probably forgotten a few plants but you get the idea.
This is a columbine that I planted from seed two years ago.  This is the first year it has bloomed, I'd just about given up hope for it.
The herb garden doing good.  The oregano we planted two years has really bonced back after not doing so good last year.
I just love the smell of honeysuckle, I think it might be my favorite thing about the spring.
The allysium I planted a couple of months ago is really taking off.
This is the area on the side of our house that we planted last spring.  This spring we've added some ferns, daylilys, pacasandra (I don't think I spelled that correctly), and a possumhaw holly.  We were glad to see the hostas we planted last year come back up and if you look at the right hand side of the picture you can see the above mentioned columbine.
Hopefully we'll have a bunch of annuals to show off in the near future.
