Spinal
Cord Injury is a continuing problem in society today. What do you do
when you can't feel or move anything below your neck? What do you do
when you're dependant for anything on everyone else, even for
something as simple as wiping your nose? Where do you turn for
support? How can you still have reason to stay alive?
One
of the most well known paraplegics in the world is Superman,
Christopher Reeve. I dedicate this site to his bravery and to every
challenge he's had to face since 1995. He is a stronger person than
I am or ever will be.
I
encourage you to donate because your generous contribution will
allow the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation to continue to fund
the research of the world's most distinguished neuroscientists and
support organizations around the country that improve the quality of
life of people living with disabilities. Every dollar brings us
closer to the cure!

This site was originally designed as
a Science Project, in partial requirement for Science 1206, John
Burke High. I'm Alison Green, a Level I student. My
topic is Spinal Cord Injury. It's causes, breakthroughs,
patients, therapy and recovery. Please
take the time to look around. I assure you, you won't be disappointed. ~Alison
