NS4 C/ENS Paul Timmerman is Silver Creek NJROTC�S Public Affairs Officer (PAO) for the 2006/2007 school year. He is a senior who has spent four years in the NJROTC unit and is full of fond memories of his time spent in NJROTC. �My most memorable moment was Leadership Academy. I learned a lot about leadership there, and I made a lot of friends and got close to the platoon handlers.� Ensign Timmerman attended Leadership Academy in Washington during the summer of his junior year. After completion of the challenging course Ensign Timmerman returned and was promoted from Master Chief Petty Officer to Ensign and Public Affairs Officer. After his sophomore year in the Unit cadet Timmerman received the most improved Cadet in the Unit. Currently cadet Timmerman is the Unarmed Exhibition and Overall Unarmed Commander. He has participated on the unarmed team for four years and is poised to lead them to continued success. Ensign Timmerman�s goals for the Silver Creek Unit during the 2006/2007 school year is to get the Unit more recognized throughout the public, and earn the Distinguished Unit award. As for his own life, Cadet Timmerman is already enlisted in the Navy, and he wishes to pursue a career in Naval Piloting, and earn the highest rank in the Navy that he can. |
