OBSERVEstation                   2002

The OBSERVEstation uses a specific program of spaces, views, and functions.  Fastners and glue could only be used to manufacture a kit of parts from predetermined pieces of wood (2x2, 2x4, and 2x2/4x8 plywood).  Which would then be shipped to the site and would interlock together without fastners.

The building was to be used as a laboratory and living quaters for a wildlife scientist.  Located on a spillway in a wildlife refuge, the ground floor (living quaters) has access to the road.  A laboratory and spare bedroom are located in the basement.
