Residential Life

The Benedictine Experience

by Monica Schmidt

Residential life is a major part of attending Benedictine University. There is more to residential life than resident halls and meal plans. The entire social aspect is an experience in itself. At Benedictine, residential life is side by side with academic life. Important parts of residential life are the different activities and meeting people.

There are three different dorms, Jaeger Hall, Ondrak Hall and Neuzil Hall. Jaeger Hall, located across from Kindlin and next to Krasa, is an all male dorm. Ondrak Hall is located in the south end of campus; it is an all female dorm. Neuzil Hall is on the northern end of campus. This is an upper-class coed hall for returning students. While living in Jaeger and Ondrak Hall you must respect the visitation policy and hours. Unlike Jaeger and Ondrak, students living in Neuzil have 24-hour visitation.
