Gone With The Wind  is without a doubt one of the greatest novels of all time.  Margaret Mitchell spins a tale of the old south like no other, a tale of love passion honor gallantry and friendship.  The story of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler along with friends and family living through the Civil War is a classic never to be forgotten.  Margaret Mitchell shows how their lives changed so drastically and yet there were things that did not diminish but grew stronger.  This story shows us insight into southern life at its peak.  It shows that you have to hold on like Hell to what is important and not to take things for granted because one day they will be gone and there are very few times in which you can regain them, because they will be Gone With The Wind
