Dwarves are a sturdy mountain folk. Saromatian dwarves are very close to "standard" fantasy dwarves, brought a little closer to the surface and given a bare minimum of farming to do.

Centaurs roam the Northern Ride, the plains to the north of Saromatia. Nomands living close to the land, they are considered savage barbarians by the southern women. Centaurs return the sentiment.
