This is the timeline commonly understood by educated Saromatians. It excludes any secret origins hidden away in Vision Crone temples, any forgotten beginnings, and certainly excludes anything the government has effectively covered up. Items included may be actually false (although commonly believed to be true), partly true, or entirely true. In other words, this is not gospel truth. But your PCs may believe that it is.
The "Dawn of Time" isn't very well-defined, and few people have felt the urge to try to define it exactly. Since the creation myth allows for a long period of time between the creation of the universe and the beginning of life, there's no handy series of "begats" to try and estimate things. Estimates,when made, are usually 3,000 or 9,000 years, for strictly religious reasons.
"YoQ" is "Year of the Queen" and is pronounced "yok". 1 YoQ marks the year the first Queen of Saromatia took up the sceptre and crown. All years given are "YoQ"
