GREG: Hey, Tabatha. Welcome to Good Morning with Greg!
TABATHA: Hello, Greg. Nice getting to speak with you.
GREG: I know from Survivor Canada 2 what it's like to have a problematic Immunity Challenge and then get back-stabbed at Tribal Council. Have you had some time to get over it?
TABATHA: I was in total shock the night I was voted out. I never dreamed I would be next to go. I was angry at first but yes I have gotten over it. Thanks.
GREG: I understand the shock, especially at the reasons some of them gave. I guess the big question is: how could you feel so certain of Rick even after he'd voted Shane out and silenced you two TC's earlier?
TABATHA: I was fooled just like he had everyone fooled. I just thought he was the only person on my side. Blindsided I may have been. But I had to stick with someone.
GREG: What do you think was the cause of your downfall?
TABATHA: My downfall was because I trust too easily. And I think I have learnt a lesson in trust.
GREG: Although Shane and yourself were the only ones of the final nine to not have an individual win, your allies still viewed you as threats in the challenges. How difficult is it to rein-in your competitive edge?
TABATHA: Well, I think they found me such a threat because I came on so strong in the beginning of the game. And I tried so hard to win something but never did. It is hard to stay competitive in a game like this from time to time.
GREG: Would you care to say anything about your friendship with Shane and what it's meant to you?
TABATHA: Shane and I are like brother and sister. I can tell him anything and he can tell me anything. I love Shane in a brotherly way and he nows that. We have had our share of ups and downs together as friends. He means a lot to me, more than I could really ever tell him.
GREG: Of all the players in Survivor Canada, who do you think most likely fits the role of: a) villain, b) sweetheart, c) hero?
TABATHA: Rick is the villain. We are great friends now, but he's still a snake when it comes to Survivor. Diana is really a sweetheart, or so I think. Shane will always be my hero when it comes to Survivor. He keeps me safe.
GREG: If you could play this game over, is there anything you would do differently this time? What would you change?
TABATHA: Well, I think I would change my trust a bit.
GREG: Do you have any advice to any aspiring survivors? What should they know before they think about entering a game like Survivor?
TABATHA: Be prepared for ups and downs. If you can't handle stress then these games are not for you because they are stressful. Most of all, remember it's just a game.
GREG: Thank-you for the interview, Tabatha. I don't know what All-Stars will bring, and I don't know if we'll be able to be allies, but I hope it gives us the opportunity to become better friends.
TABATHA: I look forward to becoming better friends with many in the game.
