Interview with Shane

GREG:  Hi everyone.  Let's say hello to the fifth member of the jury, Shane.  Hey Shane!
SHANE:  'kay

GREG:  The earlier votes against you seem to have been prophetic.  Was it a surprise to be voted out, or did you see it coming?
SHANE:  I seen it coming, I was hoping to get voted out.  I was getting where I didn't have time to put forth toward the game

GREG:  Seriously?  Is that why you left so quickly after Tribal Council?
SHANE:  No, I didn't have any final words.

GREG:  Might that have been a case of "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all?"
SHANE:  Yeah, sorta, I knew about Rick's alliance with everyone on the team I just wasn't going to say anything, only me and Tabby knew it.

GREG:  You seemed to take your Paleo Pride promise fairly seriously.  Can I ask, what was it that caused you to turn against Michelle (instead of the Cree she was talking to)?
SHANE:  Well she was trying to get our alliance of me, her, Tabby and Rick to vote out someone from our team, instead of a Cree.  That's why we deiced to get rid of her for jumping ship.  She seemed pretty imminent about voting out one of us, so we just took it upon ourself to get rid of her

GREG:  Do you think that breaking that covenant with Michelle may have cost you as the next Paleo to go?
SHANE:  No, to be honest I just gave up, you can ask Tabby on that one.

GREG:  Like Janei, were you were satisfied with your finish, having outlasted all of Cree and seeing Paleo Pride (most of it) through?
SHANE:  Yeah I'm satisfied with where I finished, I have no regrets about things I did or said to anyone.

GREG:  Do you have any advice to other aspiring survivors?  What should they do, and what shouldn't they do?
SHANE:  Just be yourself, no need to be someone you're not, be up front and honest with people.  And you will get more respect for it.

GREG:  Alrightee.  Thank-you, Shane!
SHANE:  You're welcome.
