Now some little things about me. My name is Savvas Afantenos and I come from the island of  Rhodes, in Greece. Actually from the village of Archagelos.I am a student in the University of Patras for two years now, but before that I was in the University of Cyprus for three years (there I bought me prelude:)). I study physics and I love technology. I bought my first PC in 1991, an Amstrad 1512, and since then I'm stuck with computers. In the University we do a lot of things about micro controllers like architecture, interfaces etc. we also use VHDL (Max plus) for programming FPGAs. Something new was making Robots with Lego Mindstorm and programming them.

The Colossus wonder

To you, O Sun, the people of Dorian Rhodes set up this bronze statue reaching to Olympus when they had pacified the waves of war and crowned their city with the spoils taken from the enemy. Not only over the seas but also on land did they kindle the lovely torch of freedom.
