FUNDRAISING
HISTORY
|
In order to keep our prices low, Sask-Rescue members are
encouraged to participate in our Christmas Food Fundraiser. We recognize that fundraising has been
overdone and we have made an effort to keep ours simple and in such a way that
it actually benefits the members. Money raised has been used to purchase and
update our training equipment like the spinal boards, ACTAR CPR dolls and
practice first aid supplies.
IN GOOD TASTE FUNDRAISER
-
Another option that
we provide for our members is to sell and purchase food from In Good Taste.
The reason that we offer this option is simply because the food is so
AWESOME
at In Good Taste. Our head coach orders about 7 to 10 units of the
perogies just for himself. I will tell you that as a person with Ukranian
grandparents who made excellent Perogies, the ones available through In Good
Taste are unbelievably good.
-
As a club, we get 30%
of all sales made. So if you sell $30.00 or more, you have taken care of
your fundraising requirements. That’s 2 boxes of perogies. We hope that
you will buy or sell more as we also know from experience that the cabbage
rolls and the baking are beyond compare as well.
-
The nice thing about
this fundraiser is that you get something that you really want and will use
for the same price that you would pay at the grocery store and the quality
is supreme. Christmas is coming up and this
would take care of any Christmas baking that you were not looking forward to
doing.
-
We will be giving
prizes to the top fundraisers. The top 3 fundraisers, who sell over $100 of
food, will each receive one free box of 4 dozen Perogies as a bonus.
HOW TO DO IT:
-
Everyone received one order sheet. The order sheet
gives the complete description and price of each item that is available for
sale.
-
As you make sales, make sure you write the person’s name
down on the Order Sheet along with the number of items they have ordered
under each appropriate column.
-
Make sure that print the name and numbers neatly and
carefully so they can be read.
-
Make sure that you collect the proper amount of money
from the person in the form of a cheque made out to SASK-RESCUE.
-
On October 29th, you will be turning in the master ORDER
SHEET with all of your customer names and numbers along with their cheques
to your coach.
-
Please place all of this in an envelope with your name
on it so it doesn’t get lost.
-
Make sure your name and your coach’s name is on the
bottom of the master ORDER SHEET so we know who did the fundraising.
-
We will have all of the items available for pickup on
either November 19 or November 26’s practice. At that time, we will be
giving you all of your items along with your master order sheet so you can
get the items to the people that bought from you.
For more information on the items that are available for
sale, follow this link to the In Good Taste company website:

Below you will find the items that are available for sale
this fall. If you have misplaced your order form, you can simply write
down the specific items that you wish to purchase and include that with the
appropriate amount of money in an envelope and hand that in to your coach.
