The story of the center for hope and cure (CHC) started ten years ago with the Urban poor area ministry, we discovered the need for such a center in order to complete the ministry of preaching, teaching literacy as well as sewing and knitting. We started with the first floor and then the second floor and so on.

   We were helped greatly by our friends : CEOSS and F.L.M. as well as bible lands and even the German Consulate in Alexanderia. The Saray church put a lot of money in buying and registering the property.

    The clinic serves most of the urban poor area, and the displaced Sudanese as well as the Sidi Beshr area community, both Christians and Muslims.

   CHC has now five floors; two floors for the out-patient clinics, two for the in-patients and the fifth for the operation room.

   CHC serves our reheal for the handicapped.

   Now we serve around 500 cases monthly, and it's highly subsidized by Saray church.

   To look ahead for the future of CHC is a new challenge for us, we still lacks many things such as:

        * Dental X-Ray device .

        * X-Ray device for the chest disease clinic.

        * Recovery room with its equipment.

        * Gastro-intestinal Endoscope.

        * Kidney dialysis unit.
