Most of the Church's ministries started
with a story. The story usually presents a need and a
challenge.
Once
Rev. Gendi was walking with a dear child, who couldn't join any school for his condition. He
knocked the church's door but it was not open
yet ,because there was nothing going on. So Rev.
Gendi wondered why the church doesn't open its
doors to the handicapped. The Church session
decided to explore the possibilities of this
ministry.

After a lot of disappointments
,we succeeded to start this unique service on
February 1989. We started with 10 children and 4 teachers. Now the school has 220 children and
60 teachers, workers and drivers.
The school has 4 departments :
1-Early intervention
2-Elementary
3-Slow Learner
4-Prevocation and Vocation
The Vocation has 5 programs:
Carpentry, Weaving, Knitting and Sewing, Plastic
assembly, and three green houses.
The School serves
both Muslims and Christians, and it is highly recognized by the
community.
Through the School we developed
very close relations with the Presbyterian
Church in Crystal Lake IL, USA.
This School sponsored seven
teachers for further training. We keep in close
connection with them through reciprocated
visits.
We also have relations with the
Swedish Alliance Min. They prepared 11 teachers
for further training in Sweden. They send some
volunteers, too. They are interested to help in
building a safety home for the orphan children
of the School.
The Bible Land Mission in
England is another connection. They sponsored
the carpenter Gift Shop, the Gym, and they
sponsor monthly a few children.
