• The main goal of my teaching is to help students garner a well-rounded education in biology.
• I aim at a balance between conceptual-theoretical skills and manually-oriented skills while always seeking to challenge my students to think more critically and to be better problem-solvers.

• I incorporate different types of learning activities, in and out of the classroom, that take into account individual differences.
• I like to engage learners in original research projects resulting in student publications whenever possible.
