Attractions & Activities
The Costa Blanca has so much to offer when it comes to places to visit and things to do. The beaches are among the finest in Europe with many having been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flag. Sandy beaches are the more common but there are some excellent pebbled beaches to enjoy snorkelling. There is also a large safe outside pool which is supervised at all times in the village itself. Other amenities in Teulada include tennis courts, indoor sports hall and a gym.
If you like walking you won't be disappointed. The mountain ranges around are stunning with many beautiful places to walk and stumble across breathtaking gorges. The springtime is beautiful with the wild flowers and herbs in abundance located in the surrounding area and also just outside the village. To enjoy the spectacular views Calpe rock is just one of the many places to visit. Peņon de Ifach as it is called rises up 1,225 ft from the sea and is now formally a National Park. This Gibraltar styled rock is twinned with beaches that lie either side.
One way to view part of the Costa Blanca coast line is by travelling on the 'Limon Expres'. This train runs from Alicante to Denia and can be boarded at any station in-between. One well known stop for tourists is Gata de Gorgos where passengers can visit the guitar factory and amble round the many handicraft shops of which include wicker and raffia articles.
