The
animation page shows you the kind of animation there are available to
you if we create the website for you. There are two kinds of animations.
Flash animation:
These are true animations like a cartoon movie and they can have synchronized
sound. A typical animation of a flying bird is shown underneath, which
we have created for you to see. We also have a bit of a back ground
sound on it.
You
can also see a flash animation on our Home Page (click
here so see it). It is the one with the computer being turned on and
my site appearing on the screen.

Gif
animation:
These
are also animations like cartoon movies but they are of
a different format. Their file size is generally greater
and cannot have sound embedded in it. (Sound can be embedded
into pages in different ways, see my sound pages for example).
A
typical Gif animation is shown below.

The
main advantage of Gif animation is that it can be transparent, in other
words it does not appear like a picture but as a part of the page. The
transparency of this Gif animation above makes it possible for the back
ground Colour to "shine through". |
ABOUT
IMAGES
Images
are used for all sort of reasons. They can be your company
logo, they can be navigation buttons, or images of any kind.
They usually promote your web site in many ways. We can create
entire images and logos for you. We can create them with
pictures that you provide if you wish.
Below
we show you examples of embedded images, even though, you can
see them throughout our pages. |

THUMBNAILS
Because
the file size of images can be very large and hence slow down
the loading time of your page on your client's browser, images
with very large sizes are used in conjunction with thumbnails.
The picture to your left is a thumbnail of the larger version.
Because we use a small picture, the file size is very small and
hence this page is not slowed down when loading. However, if
your client wants to see the picture in great detail, he can
click on it and gets to see the larger version of
it.

changing pictures. This picture is also used as a hyperlink, so when
you click on it, it will link you to the begin of this page. |
CHANGING IMAGES
Throughout
these pages you can see changing images. For example when you put your
mouse over the navigation buttons, the text seems to change. It isn't
the text that changes, but the entire image. One image's text is black
and the image behind, waiting for you to put your mouse over it has a
red text, giving you the illusion the text is changing, while in fact
the whole button image changes.
The picture to your left will change if you put your mouse over it and
it is also used as a link. For more details about linking pictures click

Note
also that the image to your left is also transparent, meaning it blends
in with the page. |
LOGOS AND
BANNERS
We
can scan images provided by our clients and change them into logos.
We can also obtain raw images from our client in form of floppy
disks or email. An example of a banner is shown below. We have given
this picture a frame. Also the sizes of frames can be chosen. |
