Note that spells with a verbal component do not quality solely on that basis. Furthermore, the difficulty class for all savings throws against these spells increases by +2. Examples of spells that fall into this category are shatter, shout, suggestion, and wail of the banshee. |

The totem selected can only come from the following list unless the dungeon master wishes to generate new totems on his own: Bear, Boar, Cat, Dog, Eagle, Horse, Insect, Rat, and Wolf. Not all of these may be available as familiars, so certain totems may be more advantageous than others. Special: This ability may be taken more than once. |

| Prerequisites: Familiar or animal companion, character level 4+ Benefits: Apply the Spirit Template to your familiar or animal companion, giving it all of the abilities of a spirit. The creature adds the subtype (Incorporeal) to its normal type and becomes subject to spells and abilities that affect spirits, such as a shaman's rebuke ability and various spells. |

| Prerequisites: Charisma 15+, shaman or druid level 1+ Benefits: Choose a domain from the list of totem domains and an appropriate totem associated with it. You automatically learn spells from that domain when you are high enough level to cast them, in addition to your normal spells per level. This feat may only be taken once. Special: If using the Shaman class, this feat does not require you to take an additional taboo. |
