If you're
interested in learning more about CUUPS, please come to one of our regular
meetings. See if our activities, educational programs or worship services
meet your needs. There is no obligation. Meetings are generally held at
South Valley Unitarian Universalist Society.
All
CUUPS meetings are open to people interested in participating or helping
to develop the programs, events, and resources that CUUPS offers to the
UU congregation and the larger spiritual community.
Ritual
and education programs
There is plenty of room for interested individuals to design
and contribute to celebrations and holiday rituals. In many UU churches
these are incorporated into congregational presentations by the CUUPS
Chapter and we expect the Greater Salt Lake Area Chapter to continue in
this tradition. There may also be special focus and educational groups
which explore particular topics in depth -such as - Pagan ritual, worship
and celebrations for holidays, special workings and life transitions,
both for local group worship and for wider community involvement. Each
CUUPS Chapter determines its own focus and services and as a newly forming
Chapter we invite suggestions, participation, and involvement from UU
members.
