| Rotary Fly Tying Techniques | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Rotational fly tying techniques allow for both rudimentary maneuvers such as the manipulation of chenille, wire, thread and tinsel and more advanced techniques such as spun-dubbed deer hair, spun hackle and compound dubbing, to name but a few. The Nor-Vise Fly Tying System is central to the techniques presented within these pages. The attributes and functions of each part of the System, the Nor-Vise and the Automatic Bobbin, allow for each to work in harmony with one another making difficult maneuvers and techniques seem quite easy and make performing easier techniques much more quickly. The company motto is Tie Better Flies Faster. Although this is true, a complete Nor-Vise System also improves consistency and has a higher degree of versatility than any other fly tying system available. In my words, You get more vise with a Nor-Vise. |
