our first game of the year saw us at a windblown Shepard Park. We won the toss and batted first. A solid 33 opening stand between Brent and DJ was our highlight. We soon lost quick wickets and only a 20 run partnership for the last wicket between Shiv and Nicholas saw us to a very everage 9 for 91.
Our bowlers all bowled well and a excellent 4 wicket had by Brent soon had the pressure on the opposition.
In the end we restricted Springwood to 9 for 88 to est us home in a very tight game. Special mention to some tight bowling by DJ,Joel,Aaskath and Jorden with 2 great catches by Jye,

Comments: Well what a difference the holidays made. We batted first and saw an excellent opening stand of 53 between Brent and Joel.We then saw a quick 17 from Mitchell and a fine 19 in the last over from Daniel to push our score to 5 for 144.
Our opening bowlers Brent and Nicholas soon had the opposition in trouble with Daniel,Vikram,Riely,D/J and Jordan all taking wickets, some great fielding by Aakash,Shiv and Joel, with 2 catches and a stumping by Mitchell helped to dismiss our opposition for 45. A great all round performance, well done

Comments: Today we won the toss and batted first. Again our openers Brent and DJ gave us a good solid 24 run start. We then saw some slow batting which put us behind on our run rate. Some solid batting by Mitchell and Shiv saw us at 9 for 115 after our 38th over.
We then saw Glenbrook's openers get a good start against our opening bowlers to see our opposition 0 for 53 after 16 overs. A great spell of bowling by Brent (3 wickets) and Daniel (2 wickets) and 2 great catches, one each to D J and Jye had our opposition at 5 for 57 after 21 overs and us back in the game.
Unfortunately we could not continue our good bowling.

Our 1st two day match saw Joel lose the toss and Colyton bat first .our bowlers today did a great job with the slippery ball .They were led by Joel,D/J and Daniel with 2 wickets each and 1 each to Mitchell,Vikram and Jye.
Unfortunately some very sloppy catchingsaw 8 catches dropped with Jye (2) Brent and Mitchell all taking some good catches. At the end of 60 overs Colyton were all out for 158.
After a solid start by our openers Brent and D/J we were soon in trouble at 3 for 32 .We continued to lose wickets at a steady rate but some solid batting by Daniel,Aakash and Shiv saw us in with a chance at 7 for 115 at the 44th over mark. Unfortunately we lost our last 3 wickets for only 8 runs.In the end we can say our opposition took their catches where we did not. I am sure we will soon be back on top with some more commitment in our fielding

Comments: Considering the kids haven't played since their victory in round 4 they put in a good performance. The team made more than 100 runs with the bat, which is a very pleasing effort. Both Luke S and Matty produced their top scores for the season
A few players were unlucky in the decisions they received from both umpires.
Once again the team had a chance to get Henry Lawsons run machine out cheaply but we dropped a hot chance. The improved bowling efforts from all players in conjuction with some great keeping from Alfred has seen the team reduce the number of extras conceded to 29 down from a disastrous 70 odd in the first game

Comments:- St. Clair won the toss and with some excellent bowling we soon had our opponents at 8 for 5.
Zac and Jarrod both took 4 wickets and, at one stage, were both on a hat trick. we were pretty certain we'd wrapped things up but a good batting innings from the last players saw us win with the first innings by just 7 runs.
Brendon and Shanka contributed with 2 run outs.
Unfortunately things did not go well in the 2nd innings and we were all out for 35. with not much to chase the opposition won the match having reached 2 for 49.

Comments:- Due to the rain this was played as a one day match. St. Clair won by 23 runs, A good knock of 62 from Jarrod (including a six) set the team up and 45 from Aaron with 11 not out from Brendon helped steer the team to victory It was the first six from this team and Brendon's highest score to date.
Apart from the wickets taken by Zac and gavin a wicket each from Jarrod,Shanka,Natt and Brad contributed to our win
