the Lupines killed Prince Grohl, the Cainite that ruled the city, and Bradbury and his forces took the city.

Steve Bradbury's childe, Sir Daniel Fortesque, bacame Bishop of the city, serving beneath his sire. Some saw this as being favouritism, but Bradbury did not care. The Archbishop was a wise and just ruler, something that is often rare in the Sabbat. However, his trust proved to be his undoing, as his seemingly loyal Paladin,
Louisa Finn, concocted her own treacherous plan. Finn contracted an unknown Assamite assassin, whose task it was to kill the Archbishop. This murder occurred in the closing stages of the Palla Grande - a festival that was especially significant to the Sabbat of the city, given their recent victory over the Camarilla. Bradbury was dust, his city fell into civil war between the two Bishops that succeeded him (one of which being Fortesque), and Finn was not brought to justice for several months afterwards.

Inside Information: Steve Bradbury was named for author Ray Bradbury, who wrote the superb Fahrenheit 451. Steve was originally played by Jonathan, in The Sixth Extinction, and then by Richard in Clash of the Titans. This was due to Jonathan being required to play Bishop Shane Orton.
Tzimisce koldun. Steve Bradbury was a rather paradoxical Cainite. His sire, a typical Transylvanian feudal lord-style Tzimisce, taught him the ways of antiquity and tradition, so that Bradbury, then named Stefan von Bardburren, might follow exactly in his master's stead. While Bradbury indeed did embrace the ways of his sire, he was not to be limited by it, and as the centuries passed, he took every opportunity to learn and develop with the world. As technology advanced and grew, Bradbury followed it intently, understanding every new innovation. He was therefore able to comprehend the New World with ease - unlike his sire, who paled into the background.,

Bradbury's teachings made him desire great things, and so it was no surprise that he swiftly worked his way through the ranks of the Sabbat, until he ultimately became Archbishop of his own realm. However, this position had to be earned; Bradbury was awarded the city of Maiden Newton, if he could wrest it from the control of the Camarilla. Together with fellow Tzimisce
Kraken, Bradbury masterminded a plan to use the Lupines as a weapon against the Camarilla. This scheme did not go entirely to plan, due to Kraken, whose power-mad nature and personal plan to wipe out humanity threatened things somewhat. But nonetheless,
