| City Gangrel. Athena, childe of Zy. was embraced by the Bishop-to-be while on a trip to Los Angeles. Upon his return to the city, he brought Athena back to Maiden Newton and introduced her to the Temple, whereupon she soon proved her worth to the Sabbat of the city. However, despite their relationship being obviously more than just that of sire and childe, Athena soon began to resent her sire, and hence began looking for ways to subvert his power and status within the city. At length, this led to an extremely dangerous deal with the devil, quite literally � after London returned to the city seeking to fulfil the Armageddon Prophecy, Athena sought the abomination out, freely offering her services to him as both subordinate and spy within the Temple. The situation continued thus for just a few weeks, after which, having uncovered B as a traitor, Bishop Tomsk�s suspicious nature led him to uncover Athena�s own treachery. Athena�s destruction was agreed upon by the four Bishops of the city � including Zy, her sire � and she met Final Death, by acid, in a Temple execution ceremony, along with fellow traitors B and Points. Athena�s treachery has already had a number of consequences; Zy�s reputation as a Bishop is in danger of being destroyed, thanks to his errant childe, while London, having lost his |

| spy, is doubtful pleased about the situation, although while she existed, Athena had access to much information � exactly what London knows now about the Sabbat, their plans and weaknesses is unknown. However, the most disturbing aspect of all this is the thought that one of the Sabbat�s own approached the enemy, of a perfectly free will, offering to give him information and services. The Sabbat of Maiden Newton has always in its short reign suffered a stigma of treachery in some form or other, but this by far has been the worst, and the Bishops know it. With London seemingly unstoppable, and the Armageddon Prophecy well over halfway to fulfilment, how many more will defect before all this is over? | |||||||||||||||||||||
