of the Holden Hill Police Rangers
The Holden Hill Unit of the SA Police Rangers was established in January 1994 by several members of the SA Police from the Holden Hill Station.
Kildare College and the Dunkirk Vereran's Association became the unit's patrons, and sponsors were sought for the financial assistance to purchase training equipment for the unit.
A new Unit Commander took ober the Unit in 1996, with the assistance of an Administraion Suport officer. In the same year, three Senior Rangers were promoted to Unit Instructors.
In January 2001, Ranger Inspector took over as Unit Inspector, and two Senior Rangers were promoted to suport the Unit Commander in his role.
The Unit are now strongly involved in the Italian Cernevale, Northside Blue Light Discos and Camps, and many other events in the Holden Hill Local Service Area.
