Police
Rangers enjoy and look forward to community
events, getting involved in the community to
promote the SA Police Rangers and the SA Police
in a positive light and attitude. SA Police
Rangers also help in promoting good relations
between young people and Police
 
SA
Police Rangers have the opportunity to visit
various departments of the South Australia Police
and learn about what role the various departments
play in the community. Rangers have visited such departments such as the Radio Communications
Centre, Mounted Cadre and the Water Police

Rangers
help supervise Blue Light camps, and assist the
local SES in promoting self- confidence in young
people by abseiling down cliffs among peers.
SA
Police Rangers also have the opportunity to learn team
leadership and individual confidence through ranger Camps and activities.

As
Rangers complete courses and voluntary community
service, they receive certificates in recognition
of their efforts at their local unit's
certificate ceremony. Distinguished guests are
invited to attend
