Wired for Sound......
& Plumbed for Steam
You want a great contractor that works hard and shows up when he promises?  Give Bill a call over at Pegasus Electric.  He caught some items we forgot to consider and was always willing to make changes to ensure we had just what we wanted.!

Bill and the guys from
VAD in Bakersfield laid about 5 gazillion miles of electrical wire, cable, and the blue monster cable which will let me use my computer in every room and Ron can watch sports in the garage.

The guys from VAD have the speaker mounts, cable and controls for the exterior audio system installed.  There will also be a "movie room" upstairs in the guest room and a large screen television in the great room.

Security Engineering has installed the wiring for the security system.  The house has been wired to detect fire or intruders.  The security system will include some of the VAD intalled wiring for a remote lighting system.

Just a few of the fun things Billy had to do was pulling wire so the fountain out front would have juice, adding a summer kitchen to the back porch, lights in the arches, mini-recessed lights in the stairs, and adding little step lights on the interior and exterior stairs.

The plumbers will install 5 toilets, 2 vessel sinks with wall mount faucets, a jacuzzi garden tub, 3 standing showers with body sprays, hand sprays and oversized shower heads.  The shower off the excercise room will have a door that seals and a SteamMist steam generator.  We don't need a sauna - we have lots of dry heat - but a steam shower will be great.

Campbell's Heating and Air Conditioning installed the duct work and 3 units.  Thanks to Shawn Ruth for working so hard to make sure the insulation was redone after it rained.
Surprise...Ron checking out the handywork
Above you can see that the blue wire ends up in the main control room.  To the right you can that we have lots and lots of blue wire.
The 3rd HAVC unit is in the attic of the garage and the compressor will be just outside the garage.   The other two units will be inside the mechanical room with the compressors just outside.
Looking up at the ceiling of the mechanical room.  The white tubing is for water, the blue "magic" cable, security wiring, and yellow electrical lines.  Wow!
Lots of duct work for the HAVC system.  Gads - used up 2 feet of the master bedroom closet.
Just part of the plumbing for the steam shower.  There will be a second hot water heater in the garage for this bathroom and the laundry room.
The first of 3 breaker boxes, the telephone box, and the cable input box.  There is another breaker box on the other side of the wall and another breaker box in the garages.
Wall mounted vessel filler faucet in the powder room.
Plumbing for the shower in the master bathroom.
Hardworking Billy - pulling wire on a hot Saturday morning....
Wired for sound.....lots of blue wire!  It's a good thing.
A little bit of everything.  Gasline for the range top.  The plumbing from the guest bath upstairs.  Electrical wiring for lights and outlets.  Range vent peeks out of the top of the arch.  In the very front bottom of the photo you can see the water line for the island..............lots of stuff going on!
Get the mechanical engineer away from the electrical and cable wiring!
