Alex Carter as Solomon Zond

Alex Carter will next be seen opposite Denzel Washington in the feature film thriller Out of Time. With extensive credits in television films, Carter had a leading role in Hitched. He played supporting parts in The Day Reagan Was Shot and The Fixer.

Carter has had several guest-starring turns in such popular television series as Dark Angel, Early Edition, The Pretender, JAG and The Sentinel. Additionally he starred in the CBC series Black Harbour, and in recurring roles on Traders and Due South.

Among his theater roles, Carter has played Stanley in A Streetcar Named Desire. Other performances include The Greeks, The American Clock, Breaks and Sweet Bird of Youth.

He studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, in addition to studying with several artistic professionals, including Milton Katselas, Kurt Reis and David Rotenberg.

Carter currently resides in Santa Monica, California, with his wife, Jennifer, two daughters and new baby boy.
