H. Baugh, announcing the death of his brother, William G. Baugh, in Shelby County, Tennessee. Mr. W. G. Baugh, with his family, moved from Hancock County, several years ago, to the Western District of Tennessee. Mr. Baugh is the sixth member of the family that has died since the removal." 7 Listed as a farmer in the 1900 Federal Census, Hutchinson, Greene, GA. His grave has no original marker, with dates of birth and death, but it does have a marker subsequently installed showing his military service to the South. The marker indicates that he was with Co. C, 3rd GA Inf. 4 Also served with the 17th Regiment, Ga. Militia. 6 OBITUARY The Herald Journal May 22, 1903 : MR. R.H. BAUGH DEAD. At 7 o'clock Wednesday evening Mr. R.H. Baugh passed to his reward. Mr. Baugh had for several years been suffering from dropsy which was the direct cause of his death. He was buried at 3 o'clock yesterday in the cemetery at this place. Mr. Baugh was sixty-eight years old and was one of our most respected and esteemed citizens. We shall miss him. To his two daughters and six sons and other relatives the Herald-Journal extends its sincere condolence.
