| The Jewish holidays are an easy way to add Jewish content to programs. I usually tabled for the holidays and handed out information sheets to the students passing by. This was an extremely effective means of sharing the Jewish holidays with ALL students on campus. Additionally, many programs were centered around the Jewish holidays, such as the Chanukah Hooplah of Operation Procrastination, Mischloah Manot packages to the sorority houses for Purim, Greek Shabbat, Shabbat Across Rutgers, and the Post Passover Bagel Party. Some good resources for information on Jewish holidays include: www.hillel.org www.ou.org www.aish.org www.jewfaq.org Additionally, Esther has a book on the Jewish Holidays that was incredibly useful. |
