09/23/04   Oly Shit! It's almost New Years again!!!
OK, so I'm a slacker when it comes to updates... So sue me.
I have been working on the site, however. I'm trying to streamline the main
site a bit more, plus I'm hoping to make it more interactive.  I won't bother
you with the details  because you probably won't notice them anyway,  but
the biggest and most important change is our new
WebLog! I'm hoping that
this will be more successful than the message board, which turned out to be
a total bomb,  mainly because I'm having a good time playing with it.  And
when I'm having fun, I'm inspired, and when I'm inspired, You get all kinds
of  goofy new stuff  to read!  So go on over  and check it out,  and please!
make sure  you leave  some input.  Otherwise I'll get bored of that too and
it'll be history.

Movie Pick: Chocolat
Plot Outline (as per
IMDB)  A  woman and her daughter  open a chocolate
shop  in  a  small  French  village  that  shakes up the rigid  morality of  the
community.
I fell in love with this movie the first time I saw it! It's a sweet and inspiring
charactor driven movie with just enough mush to keep it interesting, but not
so much  that  it makes you want to hurl.  If you liked any of  my previous
picks, trust me on this one. You're going to love it! (Warning: Cravings will
occur. Make sure you have plenty of your favorite chocolate on hand!)

Quote of the Day:
The grass may be greener on the other side, but it's just as hard to cut.

01/01/04   Happy New New All!!!
I know it's been a while since I've updated this page, but there are all kinds
of new things to look at!  The biggest addition  is  the
Brainiax Scrapbook,
loaded  with  all  the  stuff  the  Brainiax Crew  has  been  up  to  this  past
summer. Go check it out, you'll have fun! Also, I've added an
About page.
It gives a detailed discription of how Brainiax  was started... Sort of. There
are a lot of new Jigsaw Puzzles on the fun and games page, an
Index page
for those of you who want to see the entire site at a glance,  and some new
stories in the
Chocolate section.  So go look around and see how you like!
And  don't  forget  to  sign  the  guestbook and let Me know what you like.
Have Fun!

04/05/03   It has recently come to my  attention  that  I have mislabeled the "Issues" pages,  because in all honesty... they have absolutely nothing to do with  real  issues.  So  I've  opted  for a catchy -and slightly more accurate- name for the pages,
Random Ramblings.  So  now  you  don't  have  to  be afraid  of  finding  a  bunch of heavy weight boring stuff. It's -mostly- all in fun.
Also!  I haven't done a movie pick in quite a while, so I'll do one now... If you haven't  seen  2 Days In The Valley yet,  rent it!  It's a halarious movie about a crook,  a director,  an ass,  another ass,  two cops  and  a bunch  of chicks. The humor of the story is more on the sarcastic side than the slap stick side  (although,  there is this brilliant ongoing joke about a toupee!) So be sure to bring your brain along for the ride, or you may miss it.

Enjoy!

03/16/03  Wow!  I  didn't  realize how long it's been since I've updated this
page. Sorry about that. Chalk it up to laziness.
I  haven't,  however, been lazy about adding new material to the site. There
are a few new
interviews, some new articles in the "Issues" section  (which,
if you're new to this site, really have nothing at all to do with serious issues.
I figure we get enough of  that  crap  on  the  news.) There is a new section on what  the Brainiax crew does in their  spare  time called,
Field Trip.  It's
still  fairly new, but it's growing a little every day.  I'm currently getting  the
pictures  for  two  new  sections  of
Spring Grove ready and with summer
coming up,  I imagine we'll have many more outings to share.
Also!  It seems to me that recently,  everybody who's anybody  (and even
somebodies who are nobody and just don't realize it,)  have decided to take
up a cause. So, I figured it's time for Brainiax to take up a cause of its own!
Brainiax  is  not  only  trying to ban the manufacturing of  "glue traps,"  but
we've taken an active role in ridding our planet of these dangerous contrap-
tions!  I  urge  you  to  do  the  same  before it's too late. To find out more,
please read this.  I'll  be  honest,  the  thought  only  occurred  to me after I accidently  got  my  fingers  stuck  in one  of the traps.  Until then, I had no idea just how dangerous they really were.  After getting my skin ripped off,
I now know better.
That's about it for now.  I  promise  to try and keep this section updated a
little better, but if I forget... please forgive me. Now, I'll leave you with this
thought for the day that was sent to me from a TSO friend,

Thought Of The Day:
A good friend will come bail you out of jail... but a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...we f**ked up."

12/28/02  The new TSO pics are here!!!

12/28/02  Whew! After a marathon of  interviewing,  writing, and getting it
all up on the site, I am happy to say,  I  Finally  have New Stuff...  and it's
everywhere! There are new interviews, a whole new story section, quotes,
a couple new articles,  and  even  some  new email funnies.  I even have a
couple of new writers working with me!  But, being the brat that I am, I'm
not going to tell you who they are,  you'll  just  have to find them for your-
selves.  So come on in and take a look at your favorites,  but take it slow...
with this being the Christmas season,  I'll  be working on the TSO site a lot
and won't  have much  time to work over here for a while. I sincerely hope
you like the changes and everything that's been added.

Have a Wonderful Holiday Season!

12/28/02 Brainiax now has 2 message boards! The
new one is for those of
you who would rather not mess  with the
YahooGroup.  Same rules apply
to both, which is: There Are No Rules! So please, take a moment to check
out both of them and  bookmark your favorite.  And as always, feel free to
stike up a new conversation if you like, we're a pretty open bunch.

12/28/02  The
Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2002  Christmas  tour  is  almost
over  now.  But,  Jill and  I did get some great  pictures of the meet-n-greet
after the  Dayton  concert...  just  to tide  you over till next year.  It was an
Awesome  concert  and  all  the  performers  were absolutely wonderful!  I
don't  think  I  could  find  the  words  to discribe this experience, even if I
tried.  So you'll just have to come over and
look for yourself!
And check it out...  I finally got a hug from Joe Cerisano!  You're still my
favorite,  Joe!   (
www.cerisano.com.)

12/28/02  In the spirit of the Christmas season,  I thought I might suggest a
few of the classics here.  One being on  34th Street.  I will always consider
the  original  the  best  because that's the one I grew up  with,  but the later
version  with  Mara Wilson  is really good,  as well.  Also,  The Ten Com-
mandments is a holiday favorite of mine. Oh! and  (thank you Jill) Rudoph
the  Red  Nosed  Reindeer!  "Put one foot in front of  the other...  as soon
you'll be walkin' out the door..."
However,  if  you're  in  the  mood for a really excellent Christmas show,
may I suggest you turn off the  TV,  call TicketMaster,  and get yourself a
ticket to go see  Trans-Siberian Orchestra! You will not be dissappointed...
I Promise!

Thought of the Day:
Give a man a fish and you  feed  him for a day,  teach  a man to fish and...
he spends  the rest of his life  in the basement  tying flies  and  negleting his
personal hygene.
