It was clear that this girl was on the run from the law for some reason or another and that was a feeling that Emaleth shared with her. She was as friendly as she could possibly be.
After a short conversation between the two Emaleth suddenly must take leave due to some odd medical condition. The bar tender, Jay, assists her to the back room where she can rest. Out of curiosity, or perhaps just feeling guilt thinking that she may have been the cause of her sudden absense she fallows and sees the now changed Emaleth in her child form.
Once more the silence of the almost deserted bar is disrupted by another loud man entering the tavern. Him and the tender talk back and forth while Miame and Emaleth peek out from the back room. Miame soon realized that she had left her bag out in the tavern, so Emaleth and Miame go out to retrieve it. With the two young girl's presense in the bar the disturbance grows even more and Emaleth gets a sudden pychic flash that this man is a Deimos.
In a sudden act of heroism Miame tries to save everyone by removing them from the bar. However, what she didn't realize was that most of the people in the bar were also Deimos. The battle between them all is now inside and outside of the tavern doors. In the end most everyone is dead except for Miame, Emaleth, and Jay who is on the brink. Using his last breaths to talk to Emaleth he makes her promise that she will not carry out her mission alone, that it is too dangerous. Not wanting to argue with her dying friend she promises. And thus, our story begins...
Miame and Emaleth begin their journey to the Kingdom of the West through the mountain range of Japan. After a short sleep in a holographic tree created by one of Emaleth's many trinket's Emaleth awakes and wanders out toward the sound of rushing water. At a beautiful nearby stream she washes her face and stares into the water trying to absorb the recent events when a boy named Michael comes from out of the water startling Emaleth. Once she reaches the banks and begins to ring out her dress she spies a glowing red reflection in the water of something up in the trees. Deep in her heart she sort of wished it would attack and kill the man that had so rudely drenched her, but she still feared the thing would harm her as well. Unaware of these negative feelings, or perhaps not caring, Michael dries Emaleth by using his pyrokanetic power. This power startled the thing from the trees and it landed with a thud behind them.
Quite the opposite of what Emaleth expected, it was an innocent young being that appeared to be half lizard. This young being, Marcel, seemed so naive to the way the world worked, even to simple things like hand shakes.
After waking up quite late Miame takes to flight in search of Emaleth and soon finds her along with the two new people. After a short and unexpected encounter with a tree Miame flies straight into the water once more drenching Emaleth. Though her first impression was less than perfect she introduces herself to Michael and Marcel. Soon the four find themselves acquainted and begin their journey toward a small town at the base of a mountain in the Japan Mountain Range.

Another traveler, Rothgar, also comes across the bridge and threatens the poor guardsman, then invites him out for a drink in the same sentence. This left the naturally confused Larc even more so confused after Rothgar left him.
Once in town the four head for seperate ways. Miame left to pick-pocket, a hobby of hers, and Emaleth left for a nearby tavern. This left Michael and Marcel alone for a while.
Emaleth arrived at the tavern to find that someone had torn the door off. After ordering a drink the suspect came back, Rothgar, and killed several Deimos right in front of Emaleth. The reason why Emaleth didn't react remains unkown. Soon Rothgar left only to destroy more Deimos out in an ally.
The great disturbance and slaughter of random Deimos attracted even more Deimos to the area. Michael quickly left Marcel, not wanting the attention that he would have got if he would have stayed. Some of the Deimos gathered around innocent Marcel putting so much fear into him that he had no choice, but to cling onto the side of a building to get away. However, this only brought more attention to him.
Emaleth soon left the bar and immediatly spotted Marcel. Before she could get near him some of the Deimos, whose attention was upon Marcel, directed to Emaleth. They soon discovered that she carried Technology with her and tried to take her into custody. Michael joined Marcel on the roof instead.
Rothgar came along and killed some of the Deimos, which had gathered, and then just wandered off for some reason.
Miame ran from the conflict, but couldn't resist her urge to pick-pocket the first person she saw, who just happened to be a very rich merchant. The merchant realized he had been robbed and began to pursue her. Meanwhile, Larc had wandered into town due to all of the commotion and the merchant accidently collided with him. Miame ran behind some barrels of apples and Larc soon found her counting the money. Absentmindedly, he chucked a barrel of apples over his shoulder.
Little did he know that the barrel would fly half way across town and smash right into the group of Deimos that had clubbed Emaleth, preparing to take her into custody. Now dozens of Deimos bodies lay along the ground as well as the child form of Emaleth.
When Emaleth awoke she could not remember anything about herself or any recent events and she soon wandered into the Lion's Den Inn. Miame and Larc also headed for there, as well as Rothgar out on his own. When Miame and Larc arrived they recognized Emaleth and tried to talk with her, but Emaleth's amnesia kept her from knowing who they were.
