Defenders line up INSIDE their opponent and sprint up in a straight line. The attack is shown the space on the outside. ALL defenders moves across as the ball is passed. The sideline is used as an extra defender, and the attack is forced to the sideline. The defence is vunerable to inside balls if the inside defenders drop off after the ball is passed.

Running Lines..
.from bob woods league pages.....
One of the major problems identified with players graduating to Representative football, is the inability of players to run correct lines. The drill below should be used in warm up sessions to reinforce the correct running lines.
SKILLS DEVELOPED:

Running correct lines;
Scissors movement.
EQUIPMENT:

1 Ball.
Witches hats: 8

Four players start the drill, with the second player having the football.
The players run straight, holding the imaginary defender in place.
The ball carrier and Player 1 perform a scissor pass. The ball carrier controls when the cut is made ... player 1 waits until the ball carrier moves before he changes his angle.
After the scissors, ensure that both players continue running the lines.
The new ball carrier passes across to Player 3.
Players 3 and 4 continue to run their lines to hold their imaginary defenders in place. Players 3 & 4 perform a scissors play, and then continue running their lines.
The new ball carrier passes off to the man directly in front of him, and the next line continues the drill up the field. Four other players would be waiting up there, to continue the drill.

Progressions:
Add 2 stationary defenders.
Add 4 stationary defenders.
Allow defenders to move.

The coach must ensure that:
the ball carrier turns his body towards the support player - so that the support player continually sees the ball;
the ball carrier controls when the players move off their line to perform the scissor;
angles aren't changed to early - hold the defender;
players straighten after the scissors - run the lines.
