7.5.05 I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July.  I certainly did...you can see on my latest blog .  Sorry about the delay in updating, but my jobs and my new obsession with the JediGirl Forums have been keeping me busy.  I do have a new fic up to celebrate my third time seeing ROTS (saw it with my brother and my friend Liz on July 1st); it's called Because of Vader and depicts Vader's thoughts as he overlooks the construction of the Death Star (the last Vader scene of ROTS).  I also want to share a great site/blog I visited called Master Yoda's Blog ; it is absolutely hilarious!  Well, surf the site, check out the feature story if you haven't yet, and please sign the guestbook on your way out.  I'm still accepting additions to the chainstory and waiting for input in the polls.  And if you've got any question, comments *ahem, feedback* or episode III reviews, send them to me!

6.7.05 Act 5 is taking so long!  I've been working hard on it...but it will still be another week or so before I finish.  But it will be done.  I just wanted to update to say that I finished reading Revenge of the Sith by Matthew Stover, and it was brilliant.  Not only does Stover have a gift with Star Wars, but he has a skillful mastery over the english language.  Wow.  If you haven't read the book, I highly recommend it.  The movie would have been even better if it had more closely followed the book.  Other news: I should have a forum up pretty soon.  Check back in a few days!

5.23.05 The Polls section is back up--go vote!  Also, today I noticed that none of the links were working on the Feature page, so they are now fixed, and I would love for anyone who has not yet read the feature story (act 1-4) to read it and send me feedback!  I noticed some typos that I will have to eventually fix, but I'm saving a big re-vamp of the acts for when I finish the series.  In fact, I've been working on Act 5 for the past hour now and still have a way to go, but I will finish it as quickly as possible, so check back here in the next few days.

5.21.05 I've seen it.  I feel so fulfilled...and yet so empty.  I won't give anything away just yet for those who have not seen it, but I will say that I am glad that I made it spoiler free, for the movie was a complete thrill for two and a half hours.  I'm also glad that I read Labyrinth of Evil before seeing the movie, for it helped to know the events leading up to the movie.  That way, I could smile when I understood Obi-Wan's quip about Cato Nemodia.  Wow, there was so much foreboding and symbolism and fruition of past foreboding in that movie; I am simply overwhelmed.  What a conclusion.  Well, I would like to create a new section of your reviews of the movie, or discuss the movie in further detail with any of you (because I'm short on buddies to discuss the film with; none of my friends here share my passion), so please e-mail me those reviews/discussions and I'll be a happy camper!  So, I'm off to bed to try to sleep with ROTS thoughts swirling in my head, and I'll be back soon because now that school is out and I've seen the movie, the plot bunnies have been re-awakened!

5.21.05 I think the release of the final Star Wars film is reason enough to change the layout, don't you? While I imagine that Ruby is even now gripping the arms of her movie theater seat, I've been changing the decor around here a bit. It's still kinda.. blue.. but hopefully it's different enough from the last layout. As to ROTS itself-- I was speechless for at least a day afterwards. It's like a P/A 'shipper's best dream and worst nightmare all at once. It's Star Wars! I'm sure Ruby will be able to express it better than I. For now, I leave you with eye candy, and the hopes that Ruby's muses will get cracking. Remember to send her feedback! ^__^

5.18.05 Oh goodness, only one hour away from the midnight showing an I don't get to see it.  :(  In fact, I won't get to see ROTS until *gasp* Saturday and the delay is killing me.  What I wouldn't do to see ROTS in an hour (except, obviously, for sneaking the car and going ;))  Uh...but there is some good news, OAIAT has a new affiliate, A Master and Apprentice, a very informational and visual stunning site.  Okay, gotta go dwell in my non-ROTS-seeing-until-Saturday pity (a.k.a sleep).  Really, next time I will see you on the dark side, and we will have some talking (and fic writing) to do, yes we will!

5.17.05 My deepest apologies for the LONG delay; I have been so busy playing the lead in my school's musical "Bye Bye Birdie" (which was an amazing experience) but now the show is over.  However, my excitment is only building because look at the date!  Only 2 more days until ROTS.  Can you believe it?  It seems like it was just yesterday that I was spending my day over at the movie theatre to see Episode II and now the entire series is about to be wrapped up in one movie.  I swear, 2005 is the greatest year to be a high school Star Wars lovin' senior.  Well, I've got to get back to reading Labyrinth of Evil.  I'm sure I'll have fics all over the place after I see the movie.  See you on the dark side!

11.11.04 The new Star Wars trailer is out in theatres and on the web, and it is AWESOME!  If you have not yet seen it, click here to find out what all the brouhaha is all about.  And even though I still have yet to find a good free poll provider (if you have any suggestions, email me), you should leave your comments about the ROTS teaser trailer on the tagboard.  I must say for me, the ROTS trailer gave me that familiar butterfly feeling of anticipation that Star Wars always gives me!  However, some of you may have comments on what could have been done to improve the trailer, so by all means leave those too!   I WILL have news fics up by next week guarenteed.  I'm working hard on finishing Act 5 of the main series so that I can finish the series before ROTS comes out, and then we all compare how the movie and my take on it differ.  Expect fics very soon, then...

12.14.03 Finally, a layout change. My apologies to Ruby and you all for being AWOL for such an extended period of time. This new look is a bit darker than the last one, but I just love the fireplace scene. Speaking of which, you should check out part four of this site's featured presentation, if you haven't already. 11.3.03 I'm back with some sad news about an affiliate: The Love Pledge is now closed; apparently Shayne lost interest in the site.  That's too bad; it was coming along quite nicely and I'll miss it.  On another note, I originally planned to have the One Act in A Tragedy feature story be 5 Acts in length, but it looks as if it will be 7 or 8 because there is so much A/A stuff to write about!  I am telling you this because I finished Act 4 and realized that I'm not even finished with their relationship in Episdode II yet, so there will be plenty of Acts!  Act 4 should be up today or tomorrow!

7.21.02- Okay, that was a little too long between updates. ^^   My deepest apologies. ^_^   However, now we have a new layout (two, if you really think about it-- hopefully now you can veiw the site even if your computer doesn't agree with frames), several new fics, and a bunch of broken links have been repaired.   Not to mention that Ruby has won an award (of *course* she's won an award-- she's great).   You can check it out in the misc section, along with a bunch of new link buttons.   Don't forget to send Ruby some feedback!

5.11.02 - Five days to go until the release of "Attack of the Clones!"  ^_^  Of course, you already knew that, but why not celebrate?  As you can see, we have a brand new layout featuring Amidala.  Also, Ruby has finished up a new Act of our feature story, so go check that out.  Unfortunately, some of the fics in the story section seem to be missing, but I promise this will be fixed soon.  Don't forget to send Ruby some feedback!

1.23.02 - Yay!  First update for the new year, and we have a new layout to celebrate.  But wait, that's not all!  Ruby has begun work on her epic 'One Act in a Tragedy', this site's namesake and special feature.  You may read Act One under the 'Feature'.  Enjoy, and remember to send feedback to Ruby Flame!

12.12.01 - After a month of static, boy do I have something for you!  Ruby-Flame has been working her talented little tokus off.  That's right, ladies and gents, we have five new stories for you.  "Reflections" is a finished three parter focusing on Ami as she deals with Vader.  "What Matters Now" is a touching pre-ANH tale, and 'Time's Hands' is a rather dark piece on what the dark side can do to a person.  Not only this, but we also have a little comedy!  The first chapter of Ani's romantic blunders can be seen in "Mistaken Identity", and "Aggrivation" shows him having a little fun at Obiwan's expense.  Enjoy!
