In the last page I was talking about the 'Options Button' which is located at the bottom of the big rectangular chat screen. This button is very pivotial in terms of chatting and is very handy and useful.
If you press the options button, you would see the following menus,
(Just hover your mouse over the items to see what they are)
Change Skin: What does it do?
It changes the way Y!mLite Looks.
How to work it?
Click on Options button then Change Skins button.
Select A Fade: What Does this do?
This will open the font bar up where you can blend text.
How to work it?
Click options button then on Select a Fade Button.
Click Clear All.
Move the 3 Sliders to make Colour's.
Click Add when you like the colour you made.
Continue adding colour's till your happy
Click Close when done.
Yahoo! Voice: What Does this do?
This will let you start voice chat in the room so u can talk with others.
How to work it?
Click on the Options Button then the Microphone button and it will start voice you will see new buttons appear at the top of your screen.
Now this is easy to work i will explain what each thing does:
Microphone Icon - This will shut Voice Off.
Mute Icon - This will Mute Voice.
First rectangle looking icon - This is the volume meter for when you talk.
Talk Icon - Push this to talk to people.
Slider Bar - Volume control turn it up or down.
Lock Icon - This will lock the talk button down good for when you want to say something long or play to others on voice.
Last rectangle looking icon - This shows the volume meter of people talking.
V Listeners - This will tell u how many people are listening to you when you talk.
Chatter - This will change to the username of the person talking.
Show Friends List: What Does This Do?
This lets you see your Yahoo! Friends List.
How to Work it?
Click on the Options Button then Friends List Button and you will see a list of your friends.
Encode A YURL For Other Y!mLite/ YURL Users To See: What does this do?
This is used for when you want to post a link but yahoo keeps eating it, it will encrypt the url however only ymlite users will be able to decrypt the url.
How to work it?
Simply push the options button then the yurl button and enter the url then other people on ymlite will be able to see and click on the link.
Play Movies, MP3s: What does this do?
This will allow you to play mp3's and movies within Y!mLite.
How to work it?
Click on Options button then mp3/movie button.
Click on the mp3/Video button on the player.
Choose your file and it will start playing.
Select A Smiley: What does this do?
This will bring up a list of smiley faces you can post in chat.
How to work it?
Simply push the options button then the smiley selector button and pick a smiley from the list.
Display The Room List: What Does This do?
This lets you change rooms.
How to work it?
Click on the options button then the Change Rooms button.
Click Get list of yahoo rooms.
Choose a category from the left by double clicking it.
Choose a room from the right by double clicking it.
Hide/Show The Main Menu(Yahoo, Edit, Format, et cetera): What does this do?
This will hide the menu at the top of the screen the menu that says yahoo, edit, format, view, etc
How to work it?
Click on the Options button then the Hide menu button when u want it back simply click the button again.
Show/Hide The Chatters Window: What does this do?
This will hide the chatters list window making the chatters text box wider so more text can be seen.
How to work it?
Click on the options button then the Hide Chatters Window button when u want it back simply click the button again.
Display The Tabs - Emotes/Ignores/Friends In Room/ Stats: What does this do?
There are tabs on the right hand screen if you accidentally close one you need press this button and it will bring all the tabs back.
How to work it?
Click on the options button then turn tabs on button.
This Toggles On/Off The Alert Bar At The Top: What does this do?
This will open the alert bar which warns you when people enter/leave, spam, repeat posts, flood, etc.
How to work it?
Click on the Options button the alert bar button and a bar will show at the top of the screen this will show you when people join, leave, flood, spam , etc
Programmable Button Bar: What does this do?
This will open the programmable buttons bar which lets you program buttons to do certain things like post links or emotes etc.
How to work it?
Click on the options button then the programmable buttons Icon once you do this a new bar will appear at the top of the screen.Click on the number '1' button and a box will pop up. Now in the label the button box give the button a name type in Chat-Clients then click in the contents of the button box and type "http://chat-clients.com the place to get help with yahoo and 3rd party chat clients." Now check the Send Enter On Command box and click OK once you done this u will notice the 1 has now changed to say "Chat-Clients" now if you click on that button it will post what u entered.
To Edit a button you all ready programmed hold down CTRL + ALT and click the button you want to edit.

This takes you to Y!mLite's Site.
How to work it?
Click on options then the Y!mLite Home Page button.
