Earlier I was talking about the 'Commands' tab at the bottom centre of the chat window right below the rectangular chat screen.
These commands perform various tasks related to Y!mLite chat. Some commands are informative in nature and others attend to tasks pertaining to your computer as well as chat.
The following are the list of commands that I could gather and are in general everyday use. Comands can be broadly classified into two types,
Emote Commands, and
Ignore Commands.
You might find the following useful.
/budlist & /byebuds - Tells buddies on your list hi and bye..can be changed in Format > A.I Options"Costom Messages Setup"
/calc - this will calculate numbers in chat for all to see..
/calc2 - this will calculate numbers in chat but only you can see..
/clear - this clears the screen and will center you text.
/cls - same as /clear but does not center the text.
/cmd - opens up a program..example: /cmd Notepad
/cpuspeed - displays your computers speed.
/dictadd - adds a word to the dicionary..
/egg - pretty cool try it.
/exit - this will exit Y!mLite.
/gender - display male/females/Unknown/ignored
/igemoteoff - turns off ignore emote.
/igemoteon - turns them on.
/ignore - example: jc_20062001 you can also "perm" ignore names../ignore jc_* etc etc..
/ignorec - display people who are ignored in the room.
/im & /pm - IM/PMs someone..example: /im jc_20062001
/info - this will display users info..example: /info jc_20062001
/info2 - same as /info but diplays so everyone can see.
/ip - display your IP Addresses
/join - joins a room..example: /join Punk 'n Ska 'n Thrash:8
/list clients - this displays chients in chat.
/list females & /list males & /list unknowns - these will display females/males/unknowns in chat.
/log - logs what was all said in chat can log users too.
/lpf girlyfilter - turns words such as shit etc..into words such as "poo etc..'
/maxsecurity - upgrades Y!mLites filter.
/merge - adds bot strings.
/mf - type a name in and it tells you male or female..example: /mf heather
/news headlines - display current news to chat.
/newyear - displays how long till new years
/os - displays your os "operating system' how long installed memory etc etc..
/ping - your pingtime.
/pipe - shows connections..example: /pipe netstat etc..
/profile> - views a profile.. example: /profile>jc_20062001
/protoinfo - displays protocol info.
/random mp3 - plays a random mp3.
/roomtime - displays how long you've been in the room.
/runtime - displays how long Y!mLite has been running.
/save - saves a chat text.
/think - think emote.
/time - displays current time where you're located..Today is Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at 04:40 PM
/uptime - displays your computers uptime.
/whatismyip - displays current IP address.
/winamp - displays to chat what song you're listening to in winamp.
/wipe - clears the alart bar.
/xmas - just like /newsyears but only christmas..
/yamp - displays the song that you are listening to in Y!mLite.
/ymlitetime - total time that Y!mLites been used.
/cmode - takes you in to "chat" mode..its "Standard Unbootable Mode" but no PMs
/gawd - takes you in to "Gawd" mode Freezes all chat text and makes you 100% unbootable.
/norm - returns to normal "messenger" mode. PMs are enabled.
/dayna (Craig's daughter's age)
/oskey your serial key for 2K or XP (it's silently displayed, only you see it)
/typetime how long you've been typing for
%s = person ignoring..
%ignored = how many ignored.. (total)
%time = time / date.
%lastignored = last time you ignored someone. (only for ignores though)
%build= Displays the Y!mLite Version Installed on your system.
%users = users in room.
%roomignored = how many int then room that are ignored.
